My work mainly consists of blending the practices of illustration, photography and print, which I digitally manipulate to create posters and other graphic imagery. I also enjoy using these mediums to convey a message or symbolise a direct meaning, rather than making experimental design.

Over the course of our IPS assignment, I have explored the topic of gentrification, researching the social issues related to it and documenting what I saw visually, using photography, video, screen print and illustration to create content that can help spread awareness on the negative impacts of gentrification, that I can use to support a movement or campaign. I created a Zine and a photobook, both in support of the #Saveridleyroad campaign, and a series of posters in support of the Focus E15 movement, both of which are real campaigns that are fighting against the implications gentrification has caused for the residents of local communities that are being redeveloped. Because of the visible nature of gentrification, this lead me to working mainly with photography, using it to document people and places that symbolise the themes of my projects, while also incorporating other image making processes to make the content more interesting and to help convey the message with more style.
