Hi, this is Yali Lin. I am a multidisciplinary designer recently graduated from BA (Hons) Graphic Design at UAL Camberwell College of Arts. My practice focus on branding, graphic design, illustration and animation. I like to use variety ways to show my ideas and works. It is my pursuit to go beyond the fixed thinking of design.
The Children’s Creative Museum is a comprehensive educational museum that mainly provides immersive play and discovery-based learning for children aged 0-14. The Museum Brand Project is a hypothetical project, with the original intention of setting up an equal educational environment in order to break gender stereotypes. It is designed around core universal values (peace, freedom, social progress, equal rights, human dignity) and encourages all children to think critically.
“Through Your Eyes” is an interactive design, showing one’s own colour and personality through a personal representative mask that can be freely designed. Due to the impact of the COVID-19, it regrets that it can only be shown by photography. This work is mainly made of acrylic and iron wire. The colourful acrylic shapes that can be freely combined represent people’s different personalities and qualities.
