The Nexus Project explores the hybrid space between the digital and physical world of music visuals. The project is an augmented reality experience, teasing the upcoming music project, Escape from Reality, by Josh Blazy, musician and producerbased in Manchester. Both physical and animated elements reconnect the viewer to the forgotten tactility of music in an alternative format, intermediating between the past and present. The purchase of the physical ‘Nexus Device’ offers viewers the chance to support young artists directly, as opposed to the flawed streaming rates of music platforms.
