Hello! This is Rylee 🙂
I am someone who loves beautiful things, illustration, memes, beach and stories. They are the things that give me inspiration for my projects, and I enjoy drawing and painting the most. And they are taking a big part in my practice.
In the last year of my uni, I explored different styles of illustration as much as I could. I enjoyed them all and had fun trying to play with lines, colours and imagination. I hope you enjoy looking at them too 🙂
I am still exploring my style in both Graphic Design and Illustration. I believe it is a long way to go and this journey might be challenging. But still, I do enjoy the process and I hope you will be interested in seeing my development! Please feel free to check my work on Behance if you are probably interested in seeing my journey :)!
I hope you have a nice day and thank you so much for reading.
The theme for my IPS is ‘Disappearing Communication Methods’, in which I developed three projects out of this theme by exploring the things that are fading out from our life. The topics are 1) Sheung Shui Revisit, 2) Glimpse News Weekly, 3) Dress Code Pandemic.
The first project is a campaign that promotes the independent, old shop in the old market in a town of Hong Kong to the locals. The second topic is a newspaper that are the posters that I made during a one-week newspaper reading experiment. The last project is a set of illustration in which I imagined the characters from the famous art piece came to the modern world of the pandemic.
