Hi, I’m Lois, a designer/writer/ and artist. I would consider my practice to be an intersection of communication, 3d graphics, art and illustration. More recently, I have become interested in how design can be a powerful tool to drive social change within our society.
My project focuses on the decriminalisation of prostitution through the charity SWAN (sex workers activism network) which is a campaign that acknowledges the current flaws in legislation; this has expanded to look into the disparities womxn are subjected to, by creating a new wave feminist magazine – 1903 which was named after the year the Women’s Social and Political Union was founded by Emmeline Pankhurst.
